    This year’s event eclipsed it.

    Yet it was the brilliance of Mayan Warrior that became so emotional for my husband and me on Wednesday morning. There was a bit of wind and rain during build week, that was all gone by gate opening at Midnight Saturday. The GlamCocks drew in hundreds of revelers with sets from Conner Curnick and others.

    The event grew in popularity and eventually moved to Black Rock Desert, Nevada, in 1990.

    Evolution of Burning Man
