I’m excited, surprised, and impressed that everyone wants to check out Spartacus tonight.
The Men When it’s Busy
The guys tonight were mostly in their 30s. Although many of them are thin, I saw everything.
I saw twinks, muscle boys, daddies, Latin studs, hot blond Americans, abs for days, and heavy set bear types.
Weekends and Holidays
I first went to Spartacus on a random Saturday.
Meals at local restaurants can cost as little as 100–150 pesos ($6–8 USD), while beachfront dining and upscale establishments might cost 500–1,000 pesos ($25–50 USD) per person. Most hotels and restaurants use purified water.

Hacienda San Angel
Hacienda San Angel is a stunning gay-friendly boutique hotel nestled high above the streets of Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romantica, Mexico, just 3 minutes away from the Malecon.
Credit cards work well at most restaurants, bars, and larger businesses, but it’s smart to carry pesos for smaller vendors, beach clubs, and taxis. Thursdays through Sundays and holidays, they open at 2 pm and close at 6 am. It’s fantastic.
If you walk past the second steam room, you’ll hit the restrooms.
There are also a few benches behind the mirror to hang out and a dry sauna to the left.
Past this, you’ll find the exit reception desk and a staircase leading upstairs.
Second Floor
As per my observation, the steam room has a lot of action.
This period also includes major LGBTQ+ events like Vallarta Pride in May and the White Party in November. Always tip tour guides and drivers (around 10–15% of the tour cost).
When is the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta?
The best time to visit is during the dry season, from November to May, when the weather is sunny, warm, and perfect for beach activities.
Extra for massages or private cabins.
The entire venue is very clean. It’s okay, though. Use ATMs located inside banks for security, and always have some smaller bills (20–50 pesos) on hand for tipping or buying from local vendors. Directly in front of you, there’s a nook with a showerhead.
This nook has a couple of benches for you to sit, watch, or participate.
If you walk to the room on the right, there’s a larger space with seating along the walls.
Guests also get a deluxe continental breakfast with their stay and can also take advantage of package deals for couples including massages and champagne dinner options to make your stay even more special. The city has a thriving gay community and a dedicated gay district, Zona Romántica, filled with gay bars, clubs, and restaurants.
Uber is generally cheaper but requires a short walk across the pedestrian bridge to the pick-up area outside the airport. Some guys were on their knees waiting for their stallion to place their piece in their mouth.
Others were trying to taste all the flavors of the room.
It seemed it was fair game at this point.
It is a safe space. Some were in their 40s, and very few were above that.
Although, I saw a couple of older guys. Not using the glory holes as intended, rather cramped inside each room, taking turns on willing bottoms.
The leather beds, filled with many willing individuals sucking, fucking, and moaning in ecstasy.
The steam rooms were packed with hungry bottoms, willing tops, and group sessions.
There were multiple twinks getting split roasted by older daddies.
Cocks were being double sucked, and on some occasions, triple sucked.
Apps like Google Translate can help with communication in less touristy areas.
Do I need a visa to visit Mexico?
Citizens of the U.S., Canada, the EU, and many other countries do not need a visa to visit Mexico for stays of up to 180 days. Avoid using US dollars, as exchange rates offered by businesses are usually unfavorable.
What is the tipping etiquette in Puerto Vallarta?
Tipping is customary in Puerto Vallarta and appreciated throughout the service industry.
If you walk past the big mirror with the hair gel, you’ll see a jacuzzi with a nice waterfall to the front.
There are showers to the right as well as another bigger sauna, called Vapor Room 2.
When it’s busy (and at night), both steam rooms are connected from the inside. They also have massage services that I didn’t try, but that’s also extra.
Considering it was my first time here, I wanted to pay close attention to everything in order to give a good review.
The staff at the window was very short with me.
