Great location close to everything.
More bohemian types may look north to Montmartre with its clubs and cabarets. Would definitely stay here again. Due to the excellent location of Hotel Jules & Jim, the hotel is an excellent base for exploring the sights of Paris and the Paris gay scene. If you're traveling with a family, a good choice is around Republique or Saint Germain des Prés.
For its location it’s just perfect!
The rooms are clean, calm and sufficiently furnished! LGBTQ+ travelers can research local laws and attitudes towards sexual orientation and gender identity before traveling, and can also consult travel guides specifically for LGBTQ+ travelers.
By choosing a hotel located in a gay-friendly neighborhood of the city, travelers can enjoy Paris’s vibrant scene while feeling safe and respected as members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Hotel Jules & Jim is a small boutique hotel and is situated in the Marais district.
Whether you’re looking for a charming hotel, a design hotel, or an eco-friendly hotel, you’ll certainly find an establishment that meets your needs in Paris. I think it’s the best hotel so far in Paris. Situated in the 5th and 6th arrondissement, the Latin Quarter is known for its narrow, cobblestone streets, lively cafes, and historic buildings.
Le Marais is known for its lively atmosphere, rich history, and strong LGBTQ+ presence. You can reach Le Centre Pompidou in less than ten minutes, and walk to Notre Dame in about 15 minutes. But getting off the tourist track into neighborhoods near train stations or farther from the city center can save you money and lead to a more French experience.
Many hotels offer "le petit dejeuner," a simple breakfast of rolls and coffee, but make sure it's not an extra charge.
We loved our room.
