Caribbean islands where Sandals Resorts are located at considered couples as a man and a women and since Sandals was a “couples only” resort, this caused issues.

Other guests are just like you find anywhere else, some are outgoing and may be friendly while others might keep to themselves, but that isn’t different for a straight person.

When two males held hands the guide told them not to in front of everyone and said everyone should be boy-girl. As we visited every Sandals Resort we would usually see 1 or 2 gay couples at each resort. Even in the UK, All Sandals’ advertisements were banned from public transit due to discriminatorypractices.

Therefore, Sandals Resorts made a significantpolicy change in 2004 by lifting its ban on same-sex couples.

The shuttle ride from the airport to the St Lucian Grande is between 90 minutes and two hours, depending on traffic. Once your shuttle arrives, you’ll be directed to it, and away you’ll go. This was my first time at a Sandals property, and overall, I was very impressed with the resort, the service, the food, and nearly every aspect of my short time on the island.

Each Butler room gets a full mini bar with upgraded liquors, 24-hour room service with an upgraded menu, and a Butler to take care of every need you’ll have while on vacation. The main perks for all three types of Butler rooms remain the same, but the brands of included liquors and the room service menu’s inclusions improve as you move into higher categories.

I stayed in a Caribbean Beach View Penthouse Club level room with a fantastic view of the Caribbean Sea, the resort pools, and the expansive beach.
