The film, directed by Fellow Travelers’ Daniel Minahan (so, yes, expect queer excellence), also stars Normal People‘s Daisy Edgar-Jones as Muriel, Julius’ sister-in-law who’s stuck in the monotony of married life and starts sneaking off to horse races for a taste of excitement.

The photos were taken before Dorfman came out as a trans woman, and since she appeared masculine in the photos, many believed this was confirmation that Elordi was coming out as queer.

However, at the time of the photos, Dorfman was still married to Peter Zurkuhlen, and the photos were meant to be of close friends, not launching their relationship.

Diego Calva, who co-stars in the film, has already teased some very steamy moments with Elordi.

“I don’t know if I can say this, but we are going to have pretty hot scenes in this movie…” he said.

If you’ve been waiting for Elordi to fully embrace his queer leading man era, On Swift Horses is it.

Officially, Elordi has never commented on his sexuality one way or another. But the real treat?

“When they said I was gay, I remember leaning into the makeup. Similarly, Elordi revealed in a 2022 GQinterview he was bullied and called “gay” for doing theater while in school, but he chose to lean into the feminine aspects instead.

However, even after their breakup, the Kissing Booth stars continued to play in the second and third sequels of the film and are on friendly terms.

After splitting with King, Elordi is rumored to be dating his Euphoria darling, Zendaya.

In one photo, the Euphoria actor can be seen leaning back against a wall, holding either a cigarette or a "joint", as he and the other man appeared to be jokingly fighting over a mobile screen. Posted to Twitter, the photos show a trip the two took with some friends, including a photo of Elordi giving Dorfman a kiss on the cheek.

Fans also pointed out that just because Elordi portrays characters with diverse sexual orientations, it doesn't mean his personal life mirrors those roles.

This latest buzz stems from the discussion about his portrayal of complex characters. They became close quickly as friends, and another thing they were dating in the Netflix movie, The Kissing Booth.

However, the couple allegedly split in November 2018 as Elordi deactivated his Insta profile while King removed their pictures.

Their romance was formally verified a month afterward when they were seen kissing.

Kaia also uploaded an Insta story of the roses that Jacob got her on Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, the couple proclaimed their breakup in November 2021.
